Jose Gomez

José M. Gomez a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Excellence Realty and I have been an IT Professional for over 34 years.  I am married to my beautiful wife Lisa Gomez, and we have two beautiful girls Alexandra Gomez who graduated in 2020 and Sophia Gomez who is a Junior at Ashland University respectively. 

Education has always been an interest of mine because it has enabled me to develop both personally and professionally.   I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Devry University, an MBA degree in Executive Management and specialized in Finance from Ashland University, and I am now a Realtor for the estate of Ohio. Real Estate has become my second career. Real Estate have given me the opportunity to join and learn from my mother-in-law Jean Roberts who is a very successful Realtor at Century 21 Excellence Realty as well.    

I have always been extremely dedicated to my family and my profession, I have worked very hard to maintain a healthy work and life balance because it is important to me to be a constant presence in my kids’ life.  I was raised the same way my parents were that constant figure for me, and it shaped me in the person I am today. Professionally,  I am extremely analytical, result oriented and more importantly customer service oriented,  I have dedicated my entire professional career to support and enable others to succeed in major organization such as: Prudential Insurance, Columbia Gas of Ohio, The Wendy’s Company, Abercrombie, Ascena Retail Group and currently at Century 21 Excellence Realty

My other interests include Personal Finance, Networking, Physical Fitness and Community Involvement. I think is very important to have a sound financial plan and to execute it with discipline. Networking has helped me immensely both personally and professionally fostering relationships with friends and associates to keep me relevant and involved. When it comes to physical fitness, I am just as dedicated lifting, biking and running.  It is the best stress relief for me.

Community involvement is even more important now in this Social Media era because it forces me to be physically present and involved. I haved worked as a Youth Volleyball coach for The City of Reynoldsburg Parks and Rec sports program.  I have participated in the Financial and Stewardship ministries at my parish Saint Pius X, and I had been treasurer of the Saint Pius X Summer Festival and a youth volleyball coach. Today, I am still the president and web master for the Slate Ridge HOA.

I also do other fun things, I have been involved with group of friend and professionals who tailgate the OSU home football games, sports is a fun and and a very effective form of networking bringing people together. Great for Real Estate.
